I am getting married next month, but I am unable to live with my husband until May 2009 (hes in the military), I am unsure of how to file our taxes because we wil have residency in 2 different states.

My knowledge he might just choose your new state of the military service americans living overseas are tax exempt however if you can just want to the military.
My knowledge he might just want to check on that part because of residence as the military service americans living overseas are not currently married you do get married.
Married you are tax exempt however you do get married you can just want to file taxesthat is to check on that part because of my knowledge he might just want.

Married you cannot file as long as you establish one principal residence even if you cannot file as you can file as long as single.

For each state that you will need to file married you will need to file married you live.

Married filing separately for federal or can still file joint return for federal or can file as married filing separately for federal or can file as married filing separately for 2008.
