I was born in Russia, and so was all my family. However, it seems like most wedding reception halls serve either Italian or continental food. It is pretty important to me to incorporate part of my culture into the wedding. How can I do that without having my mom cook for the entire wedding?

I’m interested in a wedding cake that tastes good, not one that looks pretty. I never understood the concept of making food look nice but taste terrible. Sugar fondant, in my opinion, tastes and smells like caulking and buttercream is always too sweet and has a nauseatingly grainy texture. Are there any other alternatives to these two for the icing on a wedding cake? I’m having my wedding indoors in early spring so melting isn’t a problem.

They’re fairly simple to make but the difficulty is in serving them to 150 people as wedding favors. I might serve them in a small glass… 7-8 sugar covered grapes per person. I wonder if I should hire someone to make store this quantity? I think it’s a lot of freezer space to use and a big worry while planning a wedding.

I know that the wedding cakes are done in advance, generally some days to one week, of the day of wedding. I ‘ m that is asked if there is something unique on a prescription of the wedding cake that differentiates from a typical prescription of the cake so that the cake remains humid during as much time. We ‘ re looking for a great prescription of the cake of wedding of the chocolate if any person like any! THANKS!

Clarification: talking about the cake, not the decor or design. Supposedly wedding cake always tastes better than a birthday cake. Are there different ingredients of a wedding cake? I have known people to buy expensive birthday cakes from wedding cake bakers. Curious if there is a difference in the mix or the baking process.
